About Havelock North Library
The current Havelock North Library building was purpose-built in 1980 on land purchased from Te Mata Primary School. A community centre was added in 1998 and the main library received an upgrade in late 2017. The open, airy layout sits close to The Village and functions as a focal point for the local community.
